The successful LAMP developer will work very closely with their Head of IT to Develop and modify the current web offering in Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP, as well as working on several integration projects for new systems designed to aid the different departments within the Company. 2) PHP Developer – Ecommerce Web Developer, SW London, £30 - £40k

Ecommerce Web Developer (PHP)

Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PHP Developer in London, who is hungry to learn about and help develop the end to end technology requirements of a fast growing e-commerce business. Working closely with the Head of Technology over the next 3-5 years, in order to deliver the functionality required to support the business's rapid growth, the successful candidate will have strong commercial exposure to PHP web development, preferably in an e-commerce environment. He/she will also demonstrate an exemplary work ethic, to match that of the existing team, and a desire to both learn new skills and share knowledge with other developers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Head of Technology:

o Develop new functionality

3) PHP Developer (Zend framework), £30 - £35k, London

We're looking for a PHP Developer who is able to work with a small team of creatives to deliver compelling web applications. You'll need to be experienced with JavaScript, standards compliant HTML and SQL. You'll have to be a natural with PHP Development and have experience of working with the Zend Framework (any other frameworks would be great - CakePHP, Symfony, Yii etc).

If successful you'll be developing sites and applications for some great B2B and B2C websites and web applications for some great clients and helping to grow a suite of digital products.

Skills Required:

- Experience designing for WAI compliant HTML (XHTML)

- CSS 1+2 (an understanding of CSS 3 would be an asset)

- A strong understanding of JavaScript (experience with JQuery is essential)

- Excellent written and spoken English are essential

- Excellent PHP 5+

- 1 year+ experience with the Zend Framework (experience with other frameworks would be an asset)

- Excellent MySQL skills

- Flash AS3 not required but would be an asset

- Medium - Good Photoshop abilities

The technical environment is primarily LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

You will be expected to demonstrate:

• Strong object-oriented design skills including basic UML

• Excellent PHP5 skills

• Excellent HTML/XHTML/CSS skills; building valid, clean, semantic markup

• Strong MySQL skills and general SQL experience, including use of InnoDB and foreign key relationships in MySQL

• Strong database analysis and design skills; building well-structured, normalised databases

• Awareness of modern web software architecture and techniques such as MVC

• Building well-designed, modular, reusable code

• Good organisational skills both in management of time and software code

• At least basic knowledge of version control software, preferably Subversion
