PHP Developer / Drupal Developer x3, Maidenhead Berkshire, £35 - £40k

Our client is on the hunt for 3 PHP Developers (Ideally with Drupal) to be part of a new development team for a well established company. This is an exciting opportunity for PHP Developers or Drupal Developers to get their hands on some interesting projects from day 1.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong knowledge of PHP and database design & programming.

• Strong knowledge of Web services design and development both for consumption and hosting.

• Web development experience using Drupal CMS platform which include mobile theme development for various devices.

• Experience of Java, JSP, Servlet, Hibernate is preferred

• Experience across J2ME development will be preferable

• Candidate should be able to demonstrate strong design & architecture skills in past roles

• Design for performance is essential and the candidate should be able to demonstrate past work where he/she has design and developed web sites that are performance optimised

• Caching, load balancing, web page size optimisation should be demonstrated by the candidate

• Excellent Javascript knowledge and experience with AJAX is key skill for the required role.

Candidates with strong PHP Development skills but no Drupal development skills will still be considered. If you wish to be a Drupal developer but currently use PHP and Joomla or similar CMS then this could be your chance!
